COPYRIGHT & CONTENT RESPONSIBILITY
Important information for every radio station using the KryKey Radio broadcasting platform.
All radio stations broadcasting through the KryKey Radio platform are responsible for ensuring they have the appropriate rights, licences or permissions to use and broadcast their content.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Music
- Podcasts
- Interviews
- Commercials and advertisements
- Sound effects
- Jingles
- News bulletins
- Audiobooks
- Recorded programmes
- Live event audio
- Any other copyrighted or protected material
Rights, Licences & Permissions
If content is protected by copyright or other intellectual property rights, the radio station must ensure that it has obtained any necessary licence, written permission or other authorisation from the copyright owner, rights holder or relevant licensing organisation before uploading, storing or broadcasting that content through KryKey Radio.
Responsibility of the Radio Station
Each radio station remains solely responsible for the content it uploads, stores and broadcasts, including ensuring compliance with all applicable copyright laws, broadcasting regulations, licensing requirements and other legal obligations that apply to the station and its broadcasts.
Where licensing requirements vary between countries or territories, the radio station is responsible for determining and obtaining the permissions required for the territories in which it operates and, where applicable, the territories in which its content is made available or received.
KryKey Radio's Role
KryKey Radio does not routinely monitor, verify, approve or license content on behalf of broadcasters and accepts no responsibility for copyright infringement or other legal issues arising from material uploaded, stored or broadcast by an individual radio station, subject to applicable law.
Using the KryKey Radio Service
By using the KryKey Radio service, station owners acknowledge that they are responsible for obtaining and maintaining all licences, permissions, consents and rights required for the content they transmit.
